BBC Performing Arts Fund Fellowship 2014 – Events Producer (Music)

Asian Arts Agency is seeking an Events Producer (Music) at the early stages of their career to join a fellowship scheme as part of the BBC Performing Arts Fund.

About the Role

The selected fellow will have a knowledge of and passion for contemporary Asian music with a strong ambition to develop their skills and career in this field. You will have some previous experience in producing events and working with contemporary Asian musicians. You should have the artistic ideas and some connections in place to plan and produce events.

As part of the fellowship you will receive mentoring and training opportunities designed to develop and further your career, as well as benefitting from Agency’s experience and expertise in producing high-quality events and projects in contemporary and traditional Asian arts. The fellow will contribute towards the delivery of Asian Arts Agency’s artistic programme in 2015 but will also have the opportunity to develop and deliver their own events with our support and guidance. The fellowship will have a national reach and objectives as well as Bristol and South West focus.

Interviews will be held on Thursday 7th August in Bristol and the selected candidate will attend a meeting on Monday 11th August in Bristol to develop the fellowship plan. Applicants must be available to attend both dates.
