Photographer Tutor needed in Bristol

10-15k pro rata

Frui Creative Holidays and Courses is a London based company offering learning holidays world wide as well as day courses in UK.

Frui is looking for an outgoing, sociable and knowledgeable photographer to work across their beginner and intermediate Photography courses in the Bristol area.

The successful candidate will carry out photographic tuition, confidently manage groups of 8 – 15 people, follow carefully crafted lesson plans.

They will also understand and deliver Frui’s unique brand values, which blend clear, jargon free tuition with a sophisticated quality of service that goes way beyond what is normally expected from an average tutor.

The ideal person is:

• Someone who thinks on their feet and is two steps ahead and will always anticipate potential problems in advance

• Someone who can adapt and respond to different personalities and happily cater to their individual demands

• Someone who is warm, sociable and able to make people feel at ease quickly

Candidates MUST possess the following:

• BA/Hons in Photography/Fine Art or something equivalent

• Have a UK / EU Passport

• Some experience of teaching photography (or another subject) to groups and/or individuals

• A good grasp of historical and contemporary photographic trends, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of photography

This position will require you to work weekends throughout the year and would suit a practitioner who is not tied down by a regular day job. Rate of pay disclosed on application.

Successful candidates will get training before being asked to work.
