OVERVIEW 
PQube is a publisher of Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, PC and mobile video games. We are looking for a Creative Marketing Assistant to join PQube’s Bristol team, which focuses on Marketing, PR and copy-writing for the PQube group’s numerous video game projects – ranging from niche Japanese games, racing simulations, retro game products and video game merchandise. 


This is an exciting entry-level position, within a broad role, for an applicant interested in taking a first step into the video games industry - and would be well suited to a recent graduate. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
The Creative Marketing Assistant will be required to support the creative, digital and PR and Marketing team in the delivery of creative assets. 

• Copy-writing for PQube’s numerous websites. 
• Generation of video content and images from PQube’s up-coming games. 
• Generation of unique video content and images for use on Social Media. 
• Maintaining PQube’s numerous Social Media channels and engaging directly with consumers. 
• Attendance of trade and consumer shows throughout the year. 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS 
Applicants must be able to demonstrate; 

• Familiarity with Adobe creative suite – Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere are essential. 
• Excellent writing ability. 
• Familiarity with all Social Media Channels - Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, YouTube. 
• Must be comfortable appearing in video content, in person. 
• Passion for and knowledge of video games past, present and future across a wide range of genres. 

You must play, read about and have a great enthusiasm for video games. 


DESIRED SKILLS 
Ideally, applicants will also have; 

• Some experience working with In-Design and After Effects. 
• Enthusiasm for Japanese popular culture - in particular, anime and manga. 
• Fluent Japanese speaker. 
• A full, clean driving licence.

• Photoshopped image of two video game characters in an unusual real-world situation. Provide as a jpeg no larger than 500kb
