Careers Advice Sessions

We are running our popular careers advice sessions again in association with the National Careers Service. The National Careers Service provides free information, advice and guidance to help you make decisions on learning, training and work opportunities. The service offers confidential and impartial advice, supported by qualified careers advisers. The only slots left are 9.30am and 2.00pm and will be given on a first come first served basis. See attachment for more information.

We can help you with:
  • Developing a CV
  • Job hunting tips
  • Application forms
  • Labour market information
  • Interview skills
The service will enable you to:
  • Undertake an assessment to identify your strengths and skills
  • Develop action plans to help you reach your goals
  • Receive ongoing help via our face to face, telephone and website channels
  • Search for a suitable course online
  • Choose what you want to learn and where you can study
  • Help to find funding for your course if you are eligible
