Wattle & Daub Figure Theatre is a Bristol-based puppetry and visual theatre company comprised of Co-Artistic Directors Laura Purcell Gates and Tobi Poster. Our current project in development, The Depraved Appetite of Tarrare the Freak, is a chamber opera for puppets which is supported by the Wellcome Trust, Arts Council England, Tobacco Factory Theatres, Bristol Ferment at Bristol Old Vic, and Theatre Bristol, and was short-listed for the 2013 Flourish new opera competition.
We are looking for a producer to join the WDFT team to produce Tarrare and work with us closely to develop the company at this exciting stage of its journey. The role will include a wide range of responsibilities from basic administration to working with us to develop a strategy for the company. This is a paid part-time role, with its precise scope to be worked out in conversation with the right person.
